Abstract

This brief was created by the Adaptive Governance and Policy Group (Strategic Outcome 7), BioHeritage National Science Challenge, Ngā Koiora Tuku Iko. This Challenge aims to protect and manage Aotearoa New Zealand’s biodiversity, improve our biosecurity, and enhance our resilience to harmful organisms. SO7’s priorities are ensuring that the natural resource system; policy, legislation, funding and participation can effectively support biological resilience and enable mana whenua to participate as Treaty partners.
